New Guitar Day: Jackson DKMGT (Forrest Green)

Hi Folks,

I finally got my new Jackson that I ordered two weeks ago. I was so impressed with my DK2T that I bought 2 months ago, I decided to add another Jackson to my collection. Their made in Japan DK-series is an excellent bang-for-the-buck, and they are alderwood to boot. Too bad they don't make a mahogany guitar in that price range....I guess I'll hang on to my RGA121. LOL

Anyways, here we go (please ignore the smudges):

The above is a picture of my Furious-Four collection.

Left to right:

Ibanez RGA121H: X2N (B) , Super II (N)
Jackson DK2T: Mo' Joe (B), PAF-Joe (N)
Jackson DKMGT: EMG 81 (B), EMG 85 (N)
Lado Earth: Super 3 (B), PAF-Pro (N)

Cheers

Man, my DKMG is one of my favorite guitars. Congrats. For me, a neck just doesn't get any more comfortable than what you have there. I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of it!

I used to hate Jackson's, but I think they've grown on me. I definitely see one in my future.
Especially if they look nice with that gorgeous forest green color.
Nice axe...err...axes.

I have a Jackson DKMG! They are awesome guitars! You'll get alot of use out of it! The reverse headstock also makes it look kool and has a nice surved body! It looks really nice in Green! Mine is black (Like most of my guitars)

I have a bunch of Jacksons on my wishlist, if only I had the money...

That Lado Earth is still the coolest!

Thanks everybody. I have seem to have gotten one with an extra-sweat spot on the fretboard. When I play the 11th fret on the B-string with normal picking, and hold it, the note gradually turns into a pinch-harmonic sound-wise on its own. And it isn't subtle either. Has anyone else come across something like this?

VAI2K, how is the licensed Floyd on your Jackson? I heard mixed things about them.
