New Guitar help!

Right chaps,

GAS attack and I'm looking for some new gear (and the missus has agreed to fund the majority cost - woop )

Looking at any guitar really - preferably fixed bridge thats under about £850/$1500 as I've already got a JS1000 and an RG project guitar which so far so good is going well.

Musical style - bit of everything really nothing overly specific, so looking for something that is quite versatile.

What other guitars other than Ibbys, Gibbys, Fendys and PRSs are decent? (Might still consider another Ibby and just make it fixed bridge)

Cheers

Re: New Guitar help!

Get a new American Fender Strat. Or, if you can afford the extra couple of $$$, the Eric Johnson signature strats and Jeff Beck signature strats are also very nice.

With Strats you can make it a hardtail by just putting in two extra springs. I have two that are floating only so I can chord vibrato a tad. I am keepin my Plus Deluxe but kinda gotta sell the other.
