New Highway Ones for '06!

Fender made the whole Highway One line overhauled for the new season - a bunch of upgrades that apparently players have been asking for - what do you guys think?

What i want is a model with an original floyd rose and a maple neck, thats it nothing else at all anywhere. Stock single coils the works, but it has to be american made,

+1 on the Floyd and maple board. I just wish they'd move that damn vol knob from right beneath the pickup. It's so stupid!

I like it close enough to do volume swells while picking so this doesnt bother me a whole lot, although i k nwo alot of guys who move their volume knob to the second position and just put the tone knob in the cavity, and also i know alot of strat players who just remove the volume knob alltogether and adjust volume with just the knurled pot shaft.

Some of those mods seem like a nice idea, but I prefer the look of the smaller headstocks.

Fender's custom shop! If all your looking for is maple and a floyd I can't imagine it would be that expensive. chef21

if i had fender custom make a strat i'd be a Sienna sunburst with Maple neck (AANJ) abalone inlay, locking tuners and the fender locking bridge SSH
