i finally got a few new family pics. i have thinned out a lot of my favs but my stable still has a few nice axes and quite a few nice players and nice players to be (projects)
you can scoll forward thru the pics and see the next 10 or so are the new pics or you can click on the "guitars and gear" at the top and browse the whole folder. enjoy!

i'll probably be posting some of these in other threads (gear, custom/modded RGs, ect) and possibly a new jem thread but beeing that i have so many different guitars i didn't think it was fitting to post the whole collection in the other areas.

there should be a few in there if you click on the "guitars and gear" at the top of the page and click "view all" you shoud see more pics. next time i restring her, i'll polish her up and post some pics on a Jem thread.

i do get hard hit by GAS every now and then.
right now i'm chomping at the bit to replace some of the ones i miss the most. some i can't replace.

there are a few others but time will tell what i end up getting this year. i might wait and make my next big purchase something really special - J Custom, USA Jackson, custom Carvin CT6 or Warmoth custom. you know i'll keep everyone posted whatever find its way into the fold.

'88 model 4 - non neck thru version. it is heavy - probably 9 lbs. i had it5 refinished with BMW silver, fret level, a new bridge on it and new plates. i still need to go through the electronics (damn active pre amp!). this is the first guitar i ever bought for myself and i'm the only owner. it will always be with me.

it is amazing on the quality of the older Charvels compared to newer stuff. that guitar was like $750 in '88 and nowadays a guitar of that build and quality would be more than twice that price. probably $1800ish.

Yeah, I have a model 6 that I completely redid, new paintjob, new trem, pickups, etc. It turned out really well.

they are such monster players!
i'd love to get a USA Jackson or Custom Shop Charvel. they make top notch stuff and have for soooo many years.

I love the USA soloists, had a SL2H a while back, but am keeping hold of my SL1 for life, great guitar, especially as I had a lo-pro added to it

As far as j-customs go, I'd recommend a rg8670 any day of the week.

they made a J Custom that had two hums, GK output, neck thru body and the black onyx quilted top. a store in Orlando still has one and they have it on the wall for like $3000. that is the one i want. i'm not big on the mid single and never use it.
i would love another SL1 due to the neck thru and HSS config. the RGT320q would be a nice addition as well.
