Re: NEW PRS INCOMING THIS DECEMBER
The new SE Torero will be $995 in stores. It has a mahogany body with a maple neck thru desgin. EMG 81/85 pickups. Floyd Rose,
24 fret
Ebony board with no inlays, jumbo frets, Flamed maple veneer top, arm carve, and a highly carved heel. It will come in Black Cherry and Gray Black. I played them both and they sound awesome and play amazing!!!
Here is an actual pic of the guitar on the sevenstring forum.

Here is a pic. Looks like PRS wants to make Schecters now...I sort of lost some respect for them.

Re: NEW PRS INCOMING THIS DECEMBER
Hmm, yes very much Schecter style, but still so cool.
I love the PRS body shape, but they were always too expensive. Although now with the SE range, which are incidentally very nice guitars at a reasonable cost I probably could afford one if I sold a guitar. Problem is I wouldn't want to sell any of my guitars!
This new model definitely gets my interest though. Can't wait to try one out.

Exactly what I was thinking...Buying that would be like not buying a PRS!

Re: NEW PRS INCOMING THIS DECEMBER
Yeah, that PRS does not interest me in the slightest. It does indeed look like it was aimed at the Schecter buying public.

Re: NEW PRS INCOMING THIS DECEMBER
The interesting thing to me is that they're using a 25 and a half inch scale.
I like the look, but I need fret markers, or the key I am playing in becomes quite unstable.
