New rg421 questions

To me this seem just like what I want. Fixed bridge, wizard II(instead of the paper thin wizard neck), bound rosewood neck, made in Japan, and it comes in royal blue(just like my old 7620). First though I have a few questions. First does it have the same bridge as the ax521 minus the 7th saddle? Secound, does it have a bubinga strip? How much will it cost? Finally, when will it hit stores?

Bridge: *Click Here for a pic of the RG-421. *I don't remember off-hand what bridge the AX521 had on it.
Bubinga strip: *yes
Available: *soon, young Jedi...soon. *They said they'd start shipping them in October sometime.

I'll probably be picking one up...then quilting the living hell out of the top. *Something to make McNaught and Vigier jealous. :-)

here's a large pic: http://namm.harmony-central.com/SNAM...21RB-large.jpg

and i believe it lists for $629.99, so you can probaly get it for $500 or a little less when they are released.

Chesbro territory, they get away with anything because using online auctions is not in their dealer contracts. Hoshino was going to try and correct this, but good luck.

I want to start a whole family of them. I love these 421s because I dont like buying wickedly exspensive guitars because Im afraid I'll break em. But I still want it to sound good and do its job (with a little pimping out of course) I basically like working man guitars and these are perfect for it.

Gabe
I would want a 5-way, unless it comes with 2 volume knobs. *

Ooh ! I'm with you guy's, this is the ultimate 'pimp-out' guitar...i'd like to get one, put 10's or 11's on it, throw some EMG's the thing...mmmmmm-mmm....i'm with MADWELL on making a whole famliy of these things, that would rock. I'd like one with a Fred/PAF pro set-up, too... Ben
