NGD: 2011 Les Paul Traditional

Woo! Made my choice! I went to Sky Music here in Melbourne and tried out every Traditional they had (including a few really nice ones that weren't out on the floor yet) and it came down to a Gold Top and a Honeyburst. I was looking for a Les Paul with lots of dynamic range, and although a few of the prettier ones that I tried out were incredible, they sounded a bit more compressed than I would have liked. So after going back and forth, here's my new guitar! More pics tomorrow. I like the asymmetrical top - the bass side is much more figured than the treble side, and I kinda like how much character it has.

Very nice! They sound great don't they? I found the 57 Classic pickups to sound awesome, both sweet and heavy.

beautiful guitar!!! I gotta get me a Les Paul someday...I had a gold top and a tobacco burst custom and sold them both years ago - still kicking myself =o[ happy NGD!!!
