NGD

Gibson Les Paul Studio Vintage Mahogany. This is my first non Ibanez in a long time. I got it from GC online for $700 during their Labor Day Sale. I was looking at Epiphone and ESP LTD for an LP style guitar, so for less than $100 more, I was able to score an actual LP with HSC. I am very impressed with the quality. No issues at all. The action is a bit high, but I don't consider that a problem, but a matter of preference. The neck is quite a bit thicker than my Ibanez guitars, but it is rounded like my RG410 and very comfortable and easy to play. Time for the pics - sorry for the quality, my camera sucks. Also, thanks to Cid for his advice.

They didn't even try to disguise that chunk of mahogany! It looks cool though - I'd play it. I get tired of flashy finishes . . .

Thanks for the replies. It is quite a departure from my RGs, but it inspires a different way of playing, which I need. I have been stuck in a rut for some time.
