Re: NGD (Charvel content)

Well I got the guitar on Friday, and finally got a chance to open it up Sunday night. This thing is definitely a keeper. The body is pretty heavy and the neck is thinner than I expected, but not in a bad way. I plan on leaving the JB in there for now, but who knows later.

The only thing I personally don't care for is the unfinished neck that Charvel uses. I know some people like that dirty neck thing, but not me. I cleaned the neck and started refinishing it in Tru Oil. I should have it finished up and back together by Tuesday.

I have several other guitars I need to finish up so I can show them off as well.

W.o.w... That is the exact type of Charvel I've always wanted, with the natural, no-frills finish and the HS configuration.

I assume that is mahogany?
