NGD: It's finally arrived!

After putting in the order through Musicians Friend last Sunday, it finally arrived about three hours ago...

Taylor 710ce. Englemann Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Tropical Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard. Abalone dots and a gloss finish. And yes, that is Indian Rosewood binding.

It plays and sounds like a DREAM.

I should have specified this, and gotten a better picture of the action (although the 3rd one comes close...). The action is like butter. And I'm normally not a fan of low actions (I usually like the feeling of pressing a string down on the fretboard, and I'm not a speed player), but this action's about as low as it can go without buzzing, and it's amazing.

I can see myself doing speedy licks on it. But first I have to learn those licks...

Oh, and btw... just so you know, that little blue thing on the right side of the last picture is my sitar.

Thanks man. It sounds amazing. The Indian Rosewood really resonates nicely. I never actually thought anything could sound better than a 310ce... but the 7 series is just amazing. It kinda makes me want to try a guitar with brazilian rosewood.

I also like that it's not overly flashy, but has subtle hints like the gold tuners and abalone rosette, while still remaining conservative on the finish and dot inlays.
