NGD Opps, I did it again...
It is nice to have friends in the retail guitar business. My friend found this in Chicago, and at first the store did not want to play ball. I was about to send Cid in there to straighten them out, when the manager called me.
Three days later I have this.
'06 USA custom shop Washburn N6.

Re: NGD Opps, I did it again...
The neck seems to be a tad thicker than the Padauk model, but still quite nice. I don't know if someone "touched up" this one, but the fret work is very nicely done.
I did not get a chance to really play it last night. I spent the evening pulling it apart and cleaning it up. When I get home tonight, I will see how it sounds with the Custom Custom in there.

No worries, my man!
In the end I got it for what I wanted to pay. I am pretty stoked with it, and hopefully when I get my other two N4s back, they will be as nice.
This brings my total N series to six, and I think that is about it.

Everyone knows that all serious Nuno-players have a minimum of SEVEN guitars....
they laugh at guys who only have SIX.
Just kidding- you are a sick pup.

I think I may have number seven lined up...
Funny thing about the N6 is when I pulled it apart to set it up, I noticed the name "Bill Ayers" was written on both the neck and body. Turns out Bill Ayers is the VP of sales for US Music (Washburn) and the guitar was made for him.

Very cool guitar, i'm just not crazy about the pickguard design. I give them credit for trying something different though.

Ohhh no you might want to check the writing again. It probably says Build Errors. It's standard with most Washburns.

Nice guitar. I'm not diggin the pick gaurd but oh well it7s yours and not mine. I've recently had more experience with Nunos and I have to say they are good guitars. Comfortable light and very playable. I like HSS so this is up my alley, just that pick gaurd.
So out an out it's probabaly about half as good as my RG
........joke man. Enjoy it!

Re: NGD Opps, I did it again...
My second guitar was a Washburn in the 80's. I was into Queen and thought it looked like a Brian May guitar. Wow it wasnt even close.
