OK, first impressions after a good few hours playing it...
1. Reminds me of the old Hamer Californian I used to have far as body shape, 27 frets, cool inlays, etc
2. The neck, obviously nothing like what Ibanez offers (in between one of my PGM's and the fat old Fireman neck) is very comfortable and easy to play.
3. The Schaller Floyd will need some getting used to as since I've used Ibanez Edge bridges for the last few years, have the fine tuners set diagonally on the bridge to better set your hand and this one has the tuners as the original Floyd was, straight up. Had to move my pick hand up a bit and it's messing up my pick harmonics but I'll get used to it.
4. Probably going to change the pickups as I'm not sure what the previous owner changed it to (The neck is a Duncan so perhaps the bridge is as well) so I'm gonna have to get some DiMarzio's in her. For what it is now, it sounds pretty good.
5.Very light, very comfortable, very easy to play so cheers to Caparison for making fine guitars and I will gladly welcome this addition and hope all the Ibanezes don't gang up on her when I'm not looking. Those Destroyers can get pretty violent and jealous.
