NGD! (or when an Ibanez addict tries a new drug)

Here she is for the tidy sum of $800 bucks. A lovely Caparison Horus.

Sweeeet!!!! Love that 'Snowcloud' finish. Actually that finish I'm pretty sure had a limited run. I have a Horus model here although I won't be getting it until xmas, Yellow Sand model and I used to own a Horus Blacknight. Awesome guitars. Can I ask you what your early impressions of the guitar are mate, the thicker neck etc? Those Horus models seem quite small in the flesh as well, having the 24.75 scale.

Seems to be. Kinda weird, tho. What does one do when the knob doesn't stay in place after a few thousand push and pulls?

Re: NGD! (or when an Ibanez addict tries a new drug)

Its Push-Push actually, it toggles pup when pushed and springs back to place

Congrats man, id love to try a Caparison one day, never even saw one around these parts... Killer price you got there, too!

Re: NGD! (or when an Ibanez addict tries a new drug)

Correct. It is a push/push. They are not the most durable things in the world. I have been through three on my Horus. Gladly my Horus HGS has a toggle. Allparts sells them for like $12. Buy a couple. Swap it out and keep one as a spare. They are awesome when they work, but they don't work for very long.

But it's a CAPARISON!

According to the Caparison forums, I may have hit the jackpot and this one is a sought after limited edition Snow Cloud model. I've now had over 20 offers from 3 different guitar forums and I haven't had the thing 48 hours yet!

I never knew Caparisons had a shorter scale length. I'll have to give them a closer look in future...

You have indeed mate (see my original post). It's a Caparsion alright, awesome guitars!!!! They only make about 600 guitars in total a year. The founder also inspects and sets up each guitar personally as well I think before they are sent out.
