Non Ibanez Guitars

Ive owned pretty much all the guitars you guys have talked about (except tom anderson)
I always end up with the same set of guitars. For my sound i use any Ibanez RG or S works. I just set them up how i like and there it is. Its me.
To get out of that realm however I love my PRS custom 24 emerald green with the best 10 top ive seen in a long time that isnt *a private stock. Its no where near the same as the Ibanez, but thats why I like it. I do feel slow on it however, and the sound is really round on it. Its like i have to fight it to get any of those cool Ibanez tricks I like to throw in. If that made any sense.

Although I nearly always play my RGs with my band, and generally use my Strat in the house, I've always had a nagging feeling that I really need a nice white LP Custom. It's a Randy thing, I suppose.

I'd definitely have to say that the EB/MM EVH/Axis models are great guitars! *I've owned 4 EVH models over the years, but sold them all to get more JEMS * *I like the Parker Fly Deluxe too, and have had a few Steinbergers. *The only other electrics that I own right now that aren't Ibanez are my PRS Custom 22 Artist and a PRS Hollowbody II. *LOVE THEM! *But...it always seems to come back to Ibanez for me. *So many guitars, so little time/money/space/etc. *

I want a BIG FAT MAMMA JAMMA guitar like a Byrdland.
I have Charvel, Fender, Gibson, PRS and several Ibanez.
I just want a semi-hollow for some new and different sounds, not to mention I know several Ted Nugent songs !!!!!

I want one of those old Alvarez Dana Scoop guitars.. * You know, typical modified superstrat, except that the lower cutaway actually scooped up under the bridge. *I want the red one. *The only problem is I can't remember if they had 24 frets. *But they were cool

I'd also like a Maxxas, technically not an Ibanez guitar

The Dana Scoop Alvarez' had 22 frets.. There's a red one hanging on the wall of a pawn shop across the street from my house..

Patrick Eggle LA's and New Yorks are quite cool. If you like tastfully suped up strats. No locking wang bars though just wilkansons. The NY is a weird shape not too weird but just hard to describe.

But my Fender HM 'Strat' (Greg Howe guitar) is cool for those SRV meets Paul Gilbert moments. Deffinately the best strat there is.

I still like the look of the strat shaped steinbergers especially the flamed blue one *

Oh and Epi 7 string Les Pauls

And finally ESP hybrids just cause they look like Paul Gilberts Racer-X guitar

I also own a Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro which I had especially made for me in 96. It is a stunning guitar. Falling maple leaf inlays, ebony fingerboard, wilkinson trem and a STUNNING 1 piece figured maple top. It looks great but I have hardly played it since I bought my RG550 ! ! !

I'm on the reverse status.

I've many Strats but I felt the need to play on a guitar to allow play new techniques.

So I've got now a S2020X

I've got a EB/MM silhouette, a "76 Les Paul Custom, a Taylor 714CE, and a Melancon Custom Artist ( www.melanconguitars.com ).
I've been dying to get a Chapman Stick ( www.stick.com ) anybody have one of these? *I'd probobly never leave the house with it, but it'd be a cool thing to goof around with.

I would love a nice Tobacco Sunburst Les Paul Standard. But If I did buy one it would probably end up as an expensive ornament because although they look stunning the neck on the thing is like a tree trunk

Parker is currently my favorite guitar. *I liked Steinberger a lot, but the Parker neck fits the hand better...the Steinberger is too narrow. *And the playability is incredible. *I like to shake the hell out of the strings with a very light touch, and no other guitar feels or sounds the same way. *I wish I owned one.
