Oops I did it again..... - RG3120 in Red!
Man, I really don't think I warrnt such a fine instrument, and I have been trying to steer clear of these things and leave them for the "big boys."
Anyhow, I was at GC and saw the thing hanging there, and said, let me try it out.....bad idea....now it's staring at me in the family room.
These Prestiges are sweet guitars, IMHO the best feeling
neck finish
around, and a set of pickups that not only complement the guitar itself, but my personal tone. *And this new Red color is so sweet. *I never wanted one of the TW's - they bored me, but this color and the natural binding is just what the doctor ordered! *The new finish on the hardware is very cool too.
The other thing that surprises me about the Prestige model guitars is that they really do come out of the box with a great setup, low action and perfect intonation.

I do believe the word you're looking for is "incorrigable"...

Man, what a crock! You know, that guitar was more likely to end up under some disinterested kid's bed for five years courtesy of his well-healed daddy than in the hands of some "uber-musician". You like it? you make music with it? you can pay for it? it's yours...
I know a guy that owns a USRG 30 right now - and he's owned a number of other very nice guitars in the past - I swear to God he can't play one note! He doesn't know a single chord form, can't fret a string properly to save his life, doesn't even know how to tune the damned thing!!
He's never learned to play guitar!!
He just buys 'em and puts 'em up on a stand in his living room where they slowly get coated in nicotine until he decides to dump them for quick cash...
He
is a wannabe loser. You are a guitarist. If you're good enough to play something in public with a band, you're "good enough" to own anything Ibanez makes... now a $150,000 D'Angelico maybe belongs in someone else's hands...
Congrats on the new toy
- may you get many years.... um, months... well okay,
weeks
of pleasure out of it before it moves on :cheesy:

I was going to take pics last night, but it rained
Looks like nice weather today, so I'll probably snap a few and put them up here.

Congrats, those RG's are sweet. If you could afford it, why not!
Enjoy your new axe.

NICE, Very prettyful, how long will this one stick around? *
*I do like that, I don't know a heck of a lot about the
prestige guitars
as you really don't see them around here at all, one day I'd like to play a couple!

Gentlemen, place yer bets, place yer bets, I'm taking all the odds at window one, 50 / 50's at window 2 and keepers (read: sucker bet) at window 3. Who wants in?
