Ernie Ball craftsmanship is top-notch. I have a Ernie Ball Axis Super Sport left handed (no
Floyd rose). It's just superb; everything is great by me. I have a few complaints, but they're so minor.
To me, Ernie Ball seems to be the only good guitar manufacturer that caters to lefties. Maybe it's because I'm just so picky, but
*
Ibanez - out of the question in this department.
*
Fender - don't even mention the name near me.

*
PRS - way overpriced, and I don't like them either.
*
Parker - Flys are sweet looking machines but have you come across a lefty one?
*
Gibson - I can't stand
Les Pauls, and I don't think lefty ES-335's were ever produced.
if you can think of any more, go right ahead..
The MusicMan line of guitars, IMO, are well-made - even the lefty ones, which shows real compassion (a rarity) - and not very commonly seen (radio rock garbage today features all sorts of guitars but I haven't seen a MusicMan yet), so they are less of a "sheep" guitar. The prices may be expensive, but with Ernie Ball you really do get what you pay for... Although, I snagged my Axis for 50% off! hahahaha
