Page Hamilton ESP

So this is by far the only really interesting new guitar to come out at NAMM for me:

Available as an Ltd model as well:

H-S pickup config, arched top, Wilkinson, DiMarzios blank ebony board, great fetures for my liking! Would be glad to know the MSRP for the LTD model...

Re: Page Hamilton ESP

Yeah that caught my eye too, most of all the pickup combination which I find most physically convenient for my playing. Just hope the Wilkinson bridge will cope with what I'd like to do with it!

Re: Page Hamilton ESP

Yeah I noticed that on ESP's website. Looks cool. I often split the neck coil on my carvin so that the bridge is a little louder, and thus gainier.

Re: Page Hamilton ESP

I was expecting someone to say that, this is a very 80s guitar in a way. But not that many Jacksons/Charvels have/had a wilky (not that big on Floyds) and a blank ebony board, plus I'm more likely to score an LTD ESP than a nice used Charvel/Jackson around here.

I've always been a Helmet fan ever since Meantime. I love Hamilton's tone on Aftertaste. Nice guitar! Only thing that would make it better is the ESP pointed style headstock.

Oh definitely, but it is a sweet looking guitar. Has a sort of combination between an older and newer guitar.

Re: Page Hamilton ESP

I saw these on the ESP website last week. I thought they looked nice. But I would really want to see "real" pics first because I make a 100% judgement. It certainly looks nice enough on paper though. And as people have said - its different for a change!
