Painting question
Can u paint on a guitar without sanding down the finish if i want it red(the finish it is) and paint something artistic on it.....can i do so....and use clearcoat afterwards?

i'm sure someone will confirm or deny this but i see no reason why you couldn't. i have seen airbryshed guitars over the finish and clearcoated afterwards.
BTW- wha do you plan to paint (graphics) and on what model guitar?
