Peavey Wolfie or Eb/MM EVH???

Just that...and why, of course. They seem almost the same guitar.

I personally love the EB Axis, but considering the axis is basically a peavey wolf special, you can save a few bucks with the wolf, and they are UBER nice. for the price difference I say wolf all the way!
(im also a die hard peavey fan)

Considering the difference in price: WOLFIE. I used to have a Wolf Special that I sold 6 months ago. I regretted it so much I recently bought a Wolf Special QT (Quilt Top). It looks so beautiful and plays like a dream, love the pups. Itīs so priceworthy itīs ridiculous!

My JEMs are more versatile tonally speaking, but for rawk Wolfie is king.

Ibanez (JEM) and Peavey (Wolfgang) rules big time!

The EBMM played much nicer than the Peavey, and the quality is better too. I really wanted the EBMM EVH bad when it first came out. I didn't really care for the Peavey at all. Felt kinda cheap in comparison.

Well, I've owned both and I would have to side with the Wolfie. These are purely personal reasons of course, but I just found the Peavey had more character. I also liked the neck better than the EB. The Wolfie is really well made, feels great, plays great, and is generally less expensive than the EB. Both are high quality guitars, but of the two, I am considering another Wolfie.
Hope that helps....

IMHO the Wolfie is a great guitar-if you tap the coils you have a pretty versatile guitar. Not as versatile as a JEM, but it's still a great guitar....Plays like buttah....
