Peavy Cropper Classic - Has anyone tried them

If I was buying
a. A Peavy
b. A Telecaster
This would be it.

Yes, I've played one on a couple occasions....nice build quality. *It is quite different than a standard tele...this has a mahogany body, maple top, and blade pickups...a bit more chuncky and less twang.

I recently picked up an older PV Generation, which was sort of a forerunner to the Cropper...it has a chambered mahog body, flamed maple top, and s-s-s pups...nice machine.

Have you seen Peavey's new Limited series? Quilts & flames & build quality that will finally make many doubters believe.
Persoanlly, I think they're long overdue to get into the "upper line" market & *stay* there. They're doing it with the Cropper & Wolfgang. Thank goodness, there's more to come.

Yes, I think I have seen ads for those...wish they'd one with a floyd! *PV is capable of producing good instruments.
