Re: Photo's of my New Jackson
Those are really nice guitars and I love the look of them. I tried one out not too long ago and I wanted it but since i'm mainly a 7-string player, I didn't get it. They are sharp looking and they're great for the money. Nice score and congrats!

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson
Il show you my Kelly Ke3 Pro series in trans red with a
flamed maple
top. Necks don't get any more comfterble than that. Great craftsmanship, and the prices are unbelievable. I also have an original
Floyd rose
that i just put it. Took me literally 30 seconds to swap it out, but like someone else said, the Jackson bridge was fine. I just had a spare Floyd Lying around. To tell you the truth, i've never encountered a bridge i couldn't tame. The only objections i had were tone caused by different materials and obviously there was also the whole deal with some of them being fragile. Anyways, great guitars and killer looks. Had i know that jackson had such great instruments at a steal price, i would've saved so much money!
All hail!

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson
lol i know some people will be offended by the fact that that last pic that i just posted shows that the original duncans are swapped out for EMG's. (i know there are alot of passive purists here)
Also in that pic the trem has been blocked but of course you cant see that just by looking at it.

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson
Ah don't worry about it. I like them both to be honest, but i can't get the EMG's to do precisely what i need. They were great when i was in a band where we played music with that heavier tone, but I've since moved on and all i have left is one new white EMG 81 that never went into one of my guitars.
Anyways, you got a gorgeous guitar and no one is going to say anything. You would've gotten some war if it was a Jem you had swapped EMG's in, but again it's your guitar and it shouldn't really matter what people say

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson
hehe i was partially joking about the offended part, although i do know that alot of people on these forums that i can tell seem to have a strong dislike for them.
