Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

i've actually never played a jackson DK2M before, i had to buy this in the hopes that it would be awesome lol... i have a RG570 atm. Unfortunatly i dont really get to try many guitars before i buy i live in a small town, and the nearest good music store is 2 hours drive away. I know its going to be different from the RG but i wouldnt actually mind if the neck was a little thicker, i find the RG's neck maybe just a tad too thin, i mostly play rhythem guitar rather than lead.

How did you find the guitar tom to play? elaborate haha

$629 USD from MUSIC 123, Made in Japan, comes with a LFR trem, but they are a direct swap for fitting a OFR. Comes with Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz stock.
Although i hear that the LFR in these guitars is actually surprisingly good.

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

These are great guitars. I just got an orange/blue flame DK2, and they would definitely make the old RG7xx series fans happy

Love that maple board!

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

I just got one of these with the "blue bengal" finish- they are great guitars for the money, and i think the neck profile is very comfortable. I like it a lot better than some of the Rg necks i tried recently at the shop.

peace

I hate how they don't match the headstock to the body....it had such a killer look going...

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

I love the packer's neck protection - Daniel got a free towel with his Jackson!

I had a plink on the guitar when it arrived at our office, and I am mighty impressed with it - ridiculously low action and a really seriously nice neck!

Oh, yeah, it's very white indeed - the natural headstock grows on you, and I guess maybe that's a modern Fender trait.....

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

They remind me a lot of the old RG7xx series, as I said earlier. I think they are great guitars for the money, and anyone looking for an old RG would be wise to check one out. I thought the free towel was pretty cool as well, very nice packing job there!

Re: Photo's of my New Jackson

Those are definitely hot axes, I love the look of them. Unfortunately after playing one I couldn't really get used to the neck. They are well made though, that's for sure.
