Pics of my customized Washburn Nuno N1

Took this thing a step further. I completely stripped the finish. Then, using a heat gun, I burnt the softer parts of the wood grain and then brushed them with a copper brush. This brings out the grain of the wood. It then received two coats of ebony stain followed by two coats of wipe on polyurethane clear. I completely rewired the guitar, installed a new 3 way switch, Duncan Designed humbuckers, Volume Pot from an Ibanez RG and created matching wood cavity covers. Gotta be honest, it's almost better looking than my black Nuno N4.

Thanks guys. You should have seen the guitar when I got it. Stickers/decals all over it, no switch, one pickup, scratches all over. Even I didn't think it was going to look this nice when it was done.
