Here she goes, one of my two Yamaha axes.
It is a Pacifica 521 model. I bought it second hand about 8 months ago. The previous owner kept her in the closet, so, she is in mint condition!

That's a very interesting link! I'll read through that.

Some people say the 112v blows because it's made in Indonesia, but it looks solid enough to me. In any case I'll only use it for rhythym parts anyway, so.. I'm sure it will sound/play just fine. It think I'll get the silver one.

that black tele pacifica is in fact the same model as my first guitar I had, then I gave it to my friend and bought an American Deluxe Strat
I liked how it felt but it needed a little setting up

Hey man, can you give us a little more information about the guitar? Yamaha are really bad for being informative about the model numbers on their guitars. I have an 812S and its a super tele, there is a picture of it with some of my other yamahas a little back in this thread. Mine is blue, 24 frets, a floyed rose and DiMarzio pups. I can't tell you anything about the guitar other than that! They are certiantly very good instruments....please post some pictures I'd like to see her!

My guitar is same as your's,tele style, just different colour...soon i'll have some pictures and i will post them. Floyd Rose,But i'm not sure if those are DiMarzio pickups...how do you even know that?
I just knows that it works fantastic....but....as much as i know....those pacifica's are rare...huh?

I've just stripped my yamaha to put the pickups in my JEM but I do have extra pickup and I'll install it in and post it here. Awesome yamaha you guys got there, IMHO yamaha are the most underrated guitars in the world. I love my yamaha guitar
