I think the color is too much for me but I can deal since it has a floyd and 24 frets hahaha

I think it rocks fo sho. It kind of looks a gemstone or something. It's great. Although the same finish in purple would have been even better!

Re: Pics of my Pacifica

One of the nice things about those yamahas is that they have height-adjustable locking nuts (at least my RGZ does).

Height adjustable? That's cool. Btw, that reminds me...

I recently measured how wide the neck is at the nut and it's 41mm. So I guess that means it's a 1-5/8" nut.

Re: Pics of my Pacifica

I'm glad you liked my Yamaha baby. I have strated to play it few months ago....strange thing is that i used to play bass before....usually guitarists stop to play guitar and get their fingers on bass...however, i have a hell of a lot to learn. And for 390$ i think this is the best i could get, what do you think?!

Absolutely! My Yamaha cost me about $450 and in the ten years I've had it, it has never let me down. They are definately worth more than every penny!

Re: Pics of my Pacifica

I can only guess. I think it's an older model Yamaha. Maybe from the late 1990s, but I'm not sure. You could try looking in the Yamaha knowledge base. There is much information there. Here is the link:

http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/...3DLIVE,00.html

If you can't find anything there, you could always e-mail Yamaha. I've done so two times and they were very helpful.

Here's the Yamaha site for South-East Europe: http://europe.yamaha.com/

You could try to find contact information there.
