I was feeling the same about those basses.
Sad thing is those Tobias basses were hidden behind a counter in the back. Probably because they're darn expensive!

I've played one of the cheap Tobias models, that was good, so I expect the expensive ones must be amazing. Unfortunately the one of two Sound Control stores near me doesn't stock them anymore.

Re: Pictures of Gibson guitars during my trip to Nashville...
The one thing I was hoping for (and was told by someone that they don't) was to pick up a Kramer at the Gibson store (since they are now owned by Gibson) and was told they don't carry them there. That was a bit disappointing.
We took one of those guided bus tours when we were there last. That was cool 'cause we got to see the homes of a lot of music stars (Brooks, Dunn, McBride, Jackson, Hank Jr., Cash, Little Jimmy, etc.). Allen Jacksons home was amazing. Brookes and Dunn (well, their old homes anyways) were actually quite modest (they were selling when we were there). McBride's was a pretty good size.
I tell you, if I were to uproot and move somewhere else right now, it would probably be Nashville.
