I just didn't want you to think I was critcizing your guitar. That trem works just as well as the trems on the '03 models, I think the '03 ones are just a little easier to deal with.

To answer your question, yeah, you can tell what year the guitar was made by the serial number. The year is usually the first two digits after the "F." So, your guitar was apparently made in 2001 (F"01"). Yours has a gorgeous finish, especially with that sunlight on it...very nice.
