Here she goes, one of my two Yamaha axes.
It is a Pacifica 521 model. I bought it second hand about 8 months ago. The previous owner kept her in the closet, so, she is in mint condition!

No mods yet (except the DiMarzio Clip-Lok strap... all my guitars have one).
I am planning a pickup upgrade. Seymour Duncan '59/SSL-52 (maybe a custom stack)/JB. Also, I have ordered some GraphTech nut and string trees and I might upgrade the bridge.
Oh... and I put the sticker.

Hi yes, its very responsive, very sensitive if used properly and the sustain is great - ok you cant go as wild as you can with an edge pro trem, but I love it.

hi, heres my 2 yamaha.

first one is a RGX321fp,

first guitar ive ever bought, in 1992, and as seen many little cosmetic changes. Alder body, it has a full pickguard and had a picture on a carton below it when new, now is a blue donnie style paint done by my wife by hand, planning on redoing it with an airbrush maybe sometimes. has a dimarzio evolution in the bridge and a air norton in the neck, middle is stock. good takeuchi license floyd and one of my favourite neck. added a string retainer bar and new trem post, dimarzio tip, etc.

second is a RGX821dmr,

have this one since only a year, but those were only made one year i think in 1995. maple fretboard with last 5 fret half-scalloped and abalone inlay, reverse headstock, alder body with flame maple veneer on each side dyed purple and a black burst, very good takeuchi trs-pro, old hardware and (supposedly) dimarzio air series pickup. its hard to get info on those guitar cause yamaha doesnt have any on their site and google turn almost nothing also.

this one is my current favorite and is brighter than all my other axe due to it being the only one with a maple fb.

This one is a 1221MS........chromed obviously. Made for a few years in the
early to mid 90s. I tend to bring stuff in and move stuff out on a fairly regular
basis......as is the nature of GAS,but this one wont be going anywhere. It's
just a great all around axe.
