Well guys ive been real busy trying to start up a business so I havent posted alot lately. And I apologize.

Well I know most of you will get all riled up over this but for the ones that like it here we go. A new project. A 2007 Fender USA Highway One Stratocaster in Honey Blonde getting the relic treatment.

Body is done, working on the rest later this evening if I can.

Looks good man, your turning into quite the Fender collector.

Very, very nice body, but I think the controls and pickups look way too 'aged' - on their own, but especially in comparison with the guard.

new pictures.. Metal is done..

sorry about the pictures but I hate using flash it washes everything out, makes the colored parts look white, metal shiny, etc..

So I will get better pictures of this assembled tommorrow afternoon sometime.

This is using my new metal technique that still doesnt use anything caustic. And the results are perfect. its dulled, its old, but doesnt look like acid bath metal parts.

Superb! Looks really authentic. That's more than you can say for a lot of the relic jobs you see around, most of them look like they've been through an atomic blast.
