Proline serial number

I´ve seen a Proline PL 1770 Serial number K 850289.
What factory is K in 1985?

K 850289. this is a '85 ser# but according to the catalogs, there was no 1770 in '85. They made the: 1440,1550 and 1660. '86 is the 1st yr of the 1770. There could be some VERY early '87 prolines but I've never seen one.

K is the month (November) and 85 is the year. Just an early '86 PL1770.
