Good call, Ripl3y.

Tell you what, I'll go down to the music shop tomorrow and see if I can do a PG on it, shall I?

Wow ....

Ok I have bot Ibanez, and PRS's.
The answer is yes it will stay in tune, but no it cant do crazy dives/pull ups. Its limmited in the motion.
It simi floats (as opose to the fender sitting at an angel)
It can get way more sounds than just a LP sound. Infact it really has a sweet strat sound. Its the prefect in between guitar.
Yes you can do lots of Vai stuff (and no Vai dosnt play crap) you just cant do the really extream things that Vai does every once in a while.
The artificial harmonics are a little harder to get but its not like impossible. Spend time with your instrument thats how you get it.
I love both guitars

PRS Custom 22/24

Glen was right, I don't know why I questioned my original intentions. They are very different guitars and for what I want out of a guitar the Wolfgang is the right guitar for what I want and need. Actually, I'm glad I had second thoughts because I didn't buy that day, I was able to pick up a brand new Wolfie Special off of **** for a very good price.

Now the waiting begins. Thanks for the good advice and comments.

Best regards.

I own a Wolfie and a Jem. *I play different PRS guitars every time I walk into Guitar Center just because I feel like I SHOULD like them. * They're beautiful, but I see, hear, and feel very little similarities between them and the guitars I enjoy playing. * That doesn't mean they're bad.. *I'd guess that most everyone that comes here has had that moment of shopping out guitars when they pick up "the one". * I haven't noticed any "cheap" or "mass produced" vibes from my Wolfgang. * I do have an intonation problem I can't seem to fix, and the clean side of the wolgang is as clean as a 12 hour diaper. *But it's fun to play, the D-tuna works perfectly, it feels good, and it's beautiful. *Plus it's less than half the price of a PRS. * .. Heck, buy a Wolfie AND a used JEM and still have money left over for a double stand, straps, and a few years of Guitar Player Magazine. *

BTW... Eddie DID play and record with Les Pauls as well as Flying V's. * I won't hold it against him
