Quality of Kramer U.S. collection

I was just looking around for some LP customs and even some copies. and then I stumbled upon the Kramer U.S. LP copy. Seems like good quality. Have any of you guys had experience with Kramer U.S. guitars?

If it is in fact a real kramer us then the quality will be really high. I like all the old school kramer stuff. Cant say much for the gibson wannabees as i havent played them though

the quality of the 1984 is supposedly at pretty much the same level as the old barettas.

the "kramer standard" or whatever they're calling it... I'm not sure about those. they are made in korea, but korean quality has been going up a lot. the kramer LP copy is probably on par with Epiphone and LTD.

I believe the MusicYo "US Collection" guitars are made in Korea. (Note the striking similarity between the Kramer LP and SG copies and the ESP/LTD ones... they probably all come off the same assembly line.)

Where they get the "US" part is by using American-made parts such as pickups and hardware.

except the floyd is made in germany, along with the tuners (I think they're schallers, aren't they?)

doesn't matter, they're not saying they're made in the US. it's just a way of telling people they're made to somewhat higher standards than the rest.

the 1984 is a questionmark though. hand-built in the USA? might be just the actual assembly of the components (along with the pickup). I don't know. maybe there is someone over there (in the US) making bodies and necks for them. there should be someone over at the kramerforums who knows about this.

either way, they're sticking to the kramer tradition started with the "American" series: slap "American" or "US" on there and people will not go "yuck, it's made in korea" without having a look first.

I have haerd mixed reports on Music Yo Kramers www.vintagekramer.com loves 'em but some of the public say otherwise.

I got a 'vintage' 82' Pacer Special with 'B' serial number for less than the cost of an 1984 and this is the model the 1984 was based on!!!! Check around **** there are some great deals

You cant get better bang for the buck than the new kramer stuff. Ive owned 2 (a striker and an imperial) and they have both been great. They all have excellent neck profiles and if there setup properly when you get em play like a dream. And the best bit is...neither of em cost more than $200.
