Question about ESP M-2

The emg version. Is there a route for the battery or is it in the electronics cavity? I like passive pickups but I prefer the rosewood fingerboard

The battery is inside the control cavity, which is very spacey. I changed the EMGs to Duncan JB & '59 after two weeks of playing. Must say it was a great call, now the thing really kicks ass! Inspired by this I replaced my Soloist's EMGs too, with another set of Duncans (Alternative 8 & Jazz, split-option enabled). Now I'm hooked
