Randy Rhoads guitars?

Was wondering, what ever happened to them?

Somebody told me nobody knows where they are, but that can't be right :P

Re: Randy Rhoads guitars?

Not sure what you mean, Randy Roads played alot of guitars from Strats, Gibsons, Deans, Sandoval, Jacksons, Garcias & Martins.

You can still buy the Jackson RR3 Randy Rhoads Electric Guitar (Custom V)
Just search you can find it on Guitar Music Sites.

Re: Randy Rhoads guitars?

Perhaps he means Randy's own personal guitar collection. That, I don't know.

Re: Randy Rhoads guitars?

Interesting question, I bet Randy's guitars are pretty valuable.

I'm surprised they haven't been auctioned off by a Chinese bloke on e-bay.

Or perhaps they now belong to Doug Aldrich as he is Randy Rhoads reincarnated

Most of Randy's personal guitars are in the possession of Randy's mother in California. They are not out there floating around.

Correct, Delores Rhoads has most if not all of Randy's guitars at the time of his death.

Re: Randy Rhoads guitars?

I remember reading that when Ozzy did the tribute album and video, he had to borrow the guitars from Randy's mom. I know Grover Jackson was working a couple of Randy's guitars at the time of his death, and one of those was sold a NAMM show and the other is in a private collection.

Didn't I read that Ozzy gave Zakk the black and white polka dot with bow ties flying v? Or was that one just a copy?

The polka dot guitar is the one that Ozzy borrowed for the Crazy Train video.

Re: Randy Rhoads guitars?

Its sad that no ones playing them, or most of dimebag's guitars as well . I know they are both players who would have wished for their friends to have the instruments when they were gone
