Hi guys, need some advice here.
I have a two year-old 12-
string acoustic that I use mainly in the house. The fretboard (rosewood) is beginning to crud up and dry out and I should really give it a good cleaning and oiling at the next string change. Obviously I'll need to remove all the strings in one go to do this.
Problem is, I don't want to mess up the tension in the neck and body, so I've always changed the strings one-at-a-time to avoid this. Would removing all the strings so I could clean the fretboard have an affect on the neck/body tension, and when re-stringing, would I encounter tuning stability problems?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
