Rickenbacker - anyone know what they're worth?

Hey guys
My dad is thinking of bidding on a 2003 Rickenbacker 330 (USA made). It looks in mint condition and I was wondering if any you guys would know what they'd be worth?

I should mention they want AU$1850 - what ya's think?

I just searched for a currency conversion tool and it came out to $1350. They should sell new for $1000-1200 here in the states so that would be high judging by our prices, but certain things, like Rickenbacker guitars, may be more expensive in the land down under.

My advice? Catch a few kangaroos and you can sell their skins and meat and help pay for it
