S-Series + what DiMarzio pickups? - what pickups u use on yo

I have a S470sol Japanese one with a pair of Evolution. I am very happy with the sound.
Recently got a S540FM TTS, the QM1/2 stock pick up sound pretty good so far, I haven't changed them yet.
With its unique slim body, I just wondered what you guy use on your S-series if you swapped out the stock pickups, and the tone difference you got etc.

:-)

The last S2540 I saw had it's bridge humbucker changed out for a Seymour Duncan JB. I wasn't particularly enamoured with the sound it got. but it was definately more "classic rock" through the Marshall I used than metal.

I put a Tone Zone in the bridge of mine. *Got some great heavy sounds, and not too shabby clean.

I'm thinking of putting Breeds in my SC420, just because I've heard they have lower string pull, and I think it would be a cool sound.

My 'parts' S (FGM100 body with a Radius neck) has an Evo neck, VV Heavy Blues middle, and Super 3 bridge. *It sounds absolutely huge! *Of course it's also strung with 11s and tuned to C..

I also just ordered a set of Virtual PAFs for my SV420FM.

I have EMG's in my s540, very metal! Still like them in there, and recently have rediscovered this axe and am playing it a lot. EMG's on this guitar do the job!
