Schecter C1 Classic

Does anyone have a C1 Classic? I would like to add another hard tail to my collection. I was thinking about buying one, but wanted to see what everyone else thought of them. How do they play, sound, hold up, etc? I would appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks.

Well, I've never played one but they do look pretty good. I've often thought about buying one just to see how they play/sound. I'm sure if it's anything like any of the other Schecters I've played it'll be fine.

I have played one in local guitar center.
It plays very nice. As far as sound goes, I am not a fan of duncan JB's so I didn't like the sound but that can be changed. One thing I want to tell you is the quality and craftsmanship is not top notch. There is nothing really wrong with, it just doesn't have that flawless feel of Ibanez prestiges like my rg3120. The maple top is not as good as the pix you see in their websites.
Schecter has some new models coming out this year. You can actually see them in ***************.com or gutarworld magazine, but they are not listed in their website yet. I have my eyes on the S-1 elite and PT elite.

Technically hardtail means no swing bar.
Floyd rose is one kind of swing bar and there's other kinds like Wilkinson or strat type or bigsby.
But in real world, when people say hardtail they usually mean the telecaster kind of bridge. If they want to refer to tune-o-matic they just say tune-o-matic.

Um...this is confusing. Hard-tail means any bridge that does not move to change pitch (i.e. NOT a tremolo bridge/whammy bar whatever you like to call it). A Tune-o-matic, telecaster, strat-style-non-trem bridges are all examples of hardtails.
