schecter 'Hellraiser' C1 FR

ew...I just ordered a new schecter c1 hellraiser fr. I love this guitar. The store had one in black I almost bought but I ordered the blackcherry one instead. This guitar rocks! Even a cheap crate rfx 120 sounds good with this guitar. It was tough, I almost went with an ibanez rg1570...but I've had an rg 570, and there's no way I'd pay $750 for one...(well, a 570 with a wizard neck with a volute) With the c1 fr I get a mahogany body, with a nice quilt maple top, set neck, original floyd(which I love) nice emg 81/85 pickups, AND a hardshell case for $699 brand new. I might pick up an ibanez rg 5ex as a backup though...

I just snagged a C7 Hellraiser in black cherry, and I totally agree - they're a steal for the price.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the HR, Drew. I'd love to play one. The only Schecter 7s i've played are the old C7s and a 007 Elite, aside from the neck being a tad bit thick for my tastes, they played nice.

Ok, so I'm still waiting on the beast to arrive. I talked to the guy at the shop and it turns out schecter is behind on their supply of OFR's. SO...I'm waiting...GRRRR!! I went up and played on the black one again...As I said, even crap amps like the behringer v amp (LX?) 1/2 stack sounds good with this ax!

I forgot about this thread and what I said here^, I ended up meeting with Drew on the 11th, last Monday and I played his Schecter HR and I enjoyed it, it played rather nice.

Anyway, I hope you get the guitar soon.
