Actually, the neck looks brand new- it's a coffee -colored maple with dozens of birdseyes. This neck feels like it gets thinner as you go higher towards the body -

That is a great looking guitar. If you look on e*** there is a Jackson Kelly with almost the same paint scheme. It is really cool looking with a hefty price.

If I remember correct a few years ago at NAMM, Jackson came out with each one of their models with that exact paint scheme. They were very limited.

You should look into it.
