I recently stumbled onto an old Shadow guitar in my friend's basement. Does anyone know the brand? Could it be worth anything?

I have a shadow s100 its a beast of guitar made in germany in the 90's. It was au $400 with a flight case.

Gonna revive this thread. Just got this yesterday................................

Got this one crazily cheap. This is an incredible instrument, top grade components all the way around.......and check out the top on this one!! Still gotta tweak the setup some more, but right now it's my best sounding guitar. When I get it dialed in 100%, it's gonna be a total monster.

Wow man thats a nice one. Almost as nice as my shadow hehe. How much did you get it for? Looks like you have a g series with a flame maple neck?

Let me know if you want a catalog/eq patchs and settings

I saw thin one on ebay the other say but unfortunetly i didnt have the money for it. i wish i had because it went for a score.

Holy crap, that one was absolutely stolen!! The catalog would be cool...thanks. The eq patches are a moot point for me. Mine is loaded with EMGs. Never saw EMGs with exposed poles like the singlecoils in this one.

I have a Shadow which is a bit battered. It doesn't have a model number that I can ascertain, as it appears to have been a demo guitar for the Shadow active EQ-5 pickups. I grabbed it second hand from a music shop some years ago.

A very boring white colour though!

Plays great. Am tempted to replace the pick-ups and get the guitar refinished though....

No model number? you mean no serial number? because mine hasn't got one either. Some of the later shadows built in the Czech republic didnt have serial plates. There is actually a lot of NOS shadow neck plates on ebay going cheap. You should get one.
