Short scale (24 3/4 inch.) Super-strats???
Hi. I'm searching for a short scale (24 3/4 inch.) super-strat, not Les Paul or similars. I have not too big hands and I'm not too tall myself, so I was wondering which brands do (or did) short scale models. Only super-strats, because
Les Pauls
and similars use the short scale already.
I know only these:
Krame NightSwan
Charvel 750XL
Caparison Horus
Thanks a lot!

Carvin DC series have 25" scale length. Pretty close to what you want.

The only things that I can think of, are the ESP Jake E Lee model, and the Kramer Nightswan. Neither are currently in production, though. The "new" Kramer is
supposed
to be reissuing the Nightswan,
maybe
later this year. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.
Another option, would be to buy the guitar you'd like, and then get a conversion neck from Warmoth. Of course you could also always contact one of the guys linked above, and see if they can build you something!

Didn't the Nightswan have more than 24 frets too?

Valley Arts
was probably one of the first companies to offer 24.75" scale "super-Strat" style instruments.
They went through an odd ownership change when Samick bought them in the early '90s, but Gibson now owns them and they look like they're making some nice instruments.

Early 90s Charvel fusion series also had the 24.75" scale length. Those are some great guitars if you ask me.You can get them cheap too if you find one.

I was just wondering about this listening to "
Guitar Shop
" the other day. "Feel of a
Les Paul
with the (something) of a Strat". Hmmmm.....
Jeremy: Feel like making a short scale 7 string neck?

low b on a short scale isnt that great of an idea, IMO.
not enough tension for the low pitch.
