SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
My buddy Bryan Cronk flew down from Washington for Halloween and brought with him his latest creation! We finished putting it together at my place. Santana pickups and gold hardware. This stuff is burned into the wood there is no stain at all just clearcoated except for the playing surface of the neck. He already sold it today to a local player called Bad Bob. Pretty much the first guy he showed it to besides me, and I would have picked it up if I had a small fortune just laying around.

Re: SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
Someone forgot to put a bridge on it
It's pretty cool, I wouldn't say "sickest ever" though.
I would say that award would have to go to the Amfisound Routa Kelo:

Re: SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
The Rhoads V type looks like a drift wood project, and the eagle looks a little too much like a home made school project. If that's your thing then they're fantastic, but it's not for me...

Re: SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
If you like it man and it's the "sickest ever" to you then that's all that matters. I think it's a good job for what it's supposed to be.

Sick as in I feel nausious looking at both. I'd be even sicker if I came home & my Ibbys were replaced with either of those. To each his/her own, but not for me.

Re: SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
It's a nice guitar, but if you took away the eagle and stars you'd have an even better guitar. I dunno, to me the "patriotic" guitars are just cheesy. The wood on that thing is beautiful, especially the back of the neck.

Well then maybe you're just not patriotic.
Just kidding, although even if that were true, it wouldn't be a big deal haha.

Re: SICKEST GUITAR EVER!
Now now...there's no need to poop all over the creation. It's not my cup of tea but I applaud any custom work and value it 100 times more than anything that pops out of a CNC machine with 100 identical brothers and sisters before and after.
That said...the guy who bought it is probably gonna want it to be playable so you're gonna want a bridge. And the bottom two bolts on the joint are probably necessary as well.

Yeah...he'll probably want, a nut, electronics cover, knobs, bridge, screws in neck, strings, wiring to ground the bridge, etc.

I think that's a fantastic looking guitar! Love the woods and also the eagle.
Thanks for showing this to us.
What would such a beauty cost?

I think they are around $1800. You can see more of his work at
www.cronkguitars.com
.
I got excited and started taking pictures right after we started bolting on the neck.
You really have to see it in person to get the full effect. He has made plenty of these without all the artwork I just thought this one was really cool and wanted to share. I'm going to start building some on my own soon so I will be looking forward to the criticism. They won't be as creative as what Bryan does so don't expect much.
