Re: Some Caparison pics.

The original Ibanez Wizard neck is thinner than a Jackson neck. The Super Wizard is about on par with the Jackson necks. Caparison necks are definitely thicker than a Jackson but the flatness on the back is very similar. Think of a Caparison Horus neck as a Les Paul with a slight V shape and a flat bottom, kinda like \___/.

They're definitely super comfy necks no matter how you play (thumb over the top ala Clapton/EVH or thumb on the back of the neck like most shred guys). Definitely a meaty neck but doesn't feel chunky at all.

I had a Jackson & for sure the neck is thicker than a wizard neck. I haven't seen a neck on any other brand as thin and as awesome as a wizard neck.

Re: Some Caparison pics.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. it really is an awesome guitar. As it sits i don't think I would trade it for anything. Only thing I would change on it is I would rather a maple or ebony board, but you can't have everything. Seriously if I was to get my own signature model guitar it would be this one with a maple board. The fit and finish and construction on it are impeccable. Only thing I didn't like about it stock were the pickups. I changed the bridge pickup to the Caparison PH-R which is the same pickup in the Applehorn as well as the Dellinger and TAT's and is used by many of the Caparison endorsees such as Chris Ammott, Mattias Ecklundh, James Murphy, Peter Joseph, etc. and is an awesome pickup. The neck is a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 which smokes. I love it.

its gonan suck the day you push to hard and the ironing board collapses at your feet, i love how the last fret is cut and beveled.

The mighty Caparison Horus

I love the way this finish makes the guitar look different in various lighting conditions.

You mean feel or overall quality? As for overall quality I would compare it to USA Jackson and pretty close to ESP custom shop. Really have never felt anything that really feels the same to me.

As for the ironing board it is pretty sturdy and I don't lay on it while I work on the guitar so I think I'll be okay
