Some Van Halen Replicas I've Made...
I wanted to share some
Van Halen
axes I've made in the past...
The Frankenstrat was born from Warmoth parts and the Shark was a heavily modified Epi that I resculpted the entire headstock on!
I'm thinking of trying my hands with a custom Jem next

Re: Some Van Halen Replicas I've Made...
Amazing Chewie simply amazing.
If you check one of the threads here I did a van halen inspired replica. Well thats what I call it.
It's a spin off of the black and white replica with a twist. The stripes are close but I didn't want it to be exact and the color isn't red. =) I went with a Lime Green with white stripes and threw in a DiMarzio Breed. I blasted it through my amp the mids are nice and punchy gave me a nice upper cut.
What pickups did you use?

Only if he sells it. Its still legal to build a copy on your own from parts, providing you don't try and sell it own.

I'm not selling them... so Eddie can suck my left one! Besides with all of the pedals and gear I've bought over the years... and the recent tickets I bought to see him from the floor... I should sue him!

Wow, really well done, the Frankenstrat looks as good as any of the 20K+
fender

Great work Chewie, they look amazing. I'm always impressed by people like yourself that have the eye for detail and patience to create replicas of this quality.

Thanks Folks! I'm currently working on the Rhoads first white pinstriped V from Jackson... I'm actually building this one 100% from scratch.
