Hey everyone, I was at the mall and we have a music store there but the guy is a little too pricy so its a rarity when I go in there....so today i figured I'd go in there. I saw the Ibanez S470QS. I now believe in love at first sight! oh my god holding it in my hands it felt so great. but here's the down side...I AM LEFT-HANDED!!! NO!! Can anyone give me info on getting this straight from the company because I can get the "S470" but no I want the S470QS!!! Can I go through a dealer and order the guitar and have it shipped to me? like any possible way? thank you so much everyone. peece.

Unfortunately in the US market, you are only going to find the RG470 with a Left Hand option. *You may find a Jem555, but it is doubtful. *The only other option (I use the term option loosely) is a GRX 20.

What about buying that S model and String it backwards? I mean if you want it that bad?

Scott, that is pretty crazy! *I mean, sure Hendrix did it, but trying to use the trem and controls would be tricky!

ehhh, i don't wanna string it backwards...looks kinda dumb, but is there anyway to get ahold of ibanez and be like make this model for me and add that extra 10% like jackson and esp do?

I know *LOL* Just an idea, but now that I take a look at a picture of one "What the hell was I thinking?" Anyway I think you would be paying quite a bit for Ibanez to build you one, but it doesn't hurt to try! Good Luck!!!

Good luck A.J. *Maybe now that Ibanez has discontinued the 555 they'll make something really cool for left-handers. As you already mentioned, you may end up being better off going with a company that has a custom shop...at least for the time being.

Ain't it great being left-handed? *I am a lefty also so I feel your pain. *Your best bet is to spend some quality time searching for a custom builder like Harpers, Custom Guitar Wares or the like. *You might even try getting one of the plain s470L and making it your own through some wild customization. *I have a lefty 555 and before I found it I had some pretty wild ideas. *Good luck.

Their are a bunch of folks that will build anything for you just be careful some people are ruthless to lefties.

I know there is a shop in London, England which deals exclusively with Left-handed guitars. I don't know if they have a website but there address is:
