Never have been a fan of the paradise designs, particularly not that headstock!

Also, they look very nice, but also very traditional. I'd like to see more builders adopting innovative constructions, like the tom anderson neck joint, or the use of machine screws and inserts to allow for extra clamping pressure without danger of thread stripping!

I never liked that idea on the Voyager - removing a huge chunk of wood right behind the bridge can't do much for your tone and sustain.

Check out this one. I love the finish on it but I wonder where they they got the idea of that monkey grip from:

At least now I know the answer to the question "Is it possible to design a headstock that's even more ugly than a Tyler?"

Great for giving you a large pullup range though!

The headstocks have kind of grown on me...I wasn't a big fan of them before but as time goes on they aren't that bad!

I think the 'multi' logo on the Tyler's make them even worse than they actually are. If I owned a Paradise guitar I'd be real tempted to edge off the bottom right horn on the headstock, maybe make it a bit more BC Rich-esque in appearance.

Indeed something does look familiar...

I remember countless horror movies that look somewhat similar...

It's wierd in that it doesn't look like any wood has been cut from around the mechanical parts of the trem system.

I'a a nice gimmick on a nicely finished guitar

If I remember right it was a Jemsite poll that decided the headstock. Anyone who's been here over a year probably remembers all the discussion that was already had about the handle and headstock shape.
