Re: SRV?

Very good Strats - big frets, great pickups, great neckshape, stupid scratchplate (no offense Stevie, RIP) - they tend to fetch pretty high prices here, no idea what happens in Greece - great choice of Strat though!

Re: SRV?

From what I've seen, they usually go in the $900 to $1200 range in the States, depending on condition and location. I've been wanting one for some time, and every time I have the money and look, I can't find them, then when I can't buy one, they are all over the place.

Re: SRV?

They are nice Strats. Especially for some folks who are not Strat players by nature. They have a pretty flat 12" radius that many non Fender Benders prefer to the 7.25-9.5" radius found on most Fenders.

As said already they are usually $900-1200 here in the States.

Theres about 5 or 6 of them on that major auction site at the moment... & another 10 or so "replica's"

Re: SRV?

They're good, but if I were to buy a strat I would get one with a nitro finish. Single coils just don't sound good with thick poly finishes (like the SRV strat). Why buy the SRV strat when you could buy the EJ strat, which just happens to be the best strat made since the 50's.

Re: SRV?

I think EJ is a good strat, but the SRV is more comfort for me, also i like the SRV's style...
