Steinberger tremolo experts ?
Hi there,
A friend of mine offered his steinberger spirit to me for a nice price. However, the trem seems a bit shoddy. It seems the tremolo doesn't "lock" anymore. The locking lever has a clear notch in it, but the notch doesn't catch on anything. Under the trem, there is a small threaded end. Is some part normally screwed on the thread, that catches the notch in lock position ?
