Stolen guitar is found 2 years later

I hope this is an alright forum to put it in but i have a very unlikely story.

Almost 2 years ago my Vester Maniac Custom guitar (very nice and very sentimental) was stollen out of my car. The other night a very nice person emails me saying "today I've placed a Vester Maniac Custom guitar on layby at Cash Converters (2nd hand dealer). This afternoon I was searching the net for details about this guitar and found your website, which tells me that David (me) has had the same type of guitar stolen".

Anyway it turns out it was mine and I got it back thanks to the cops. I gave the guy who told me a cash reward and he got whatever money he had put on it back.

Nearly 2 years and finally it has returned. I couldn't believe my luck.

Too bad some other people aren't as lucky. Several months ago someone broke into my guitar teachers studio and took about $5000-$6000 worth of equipment. Sucks big time.

yeah never good to hear when peoples gear gets stollen. Especially as guitars and things like em are so sentimental.

Well hopefully your guitar teacher will get an email like I did

I've got the same case like you too guitarkatana, Last time there's this sick @#$% who broke into church and took a Strat, a monitor and some way cool expensive cables from here. Damnit! This @#$% caused me and my friends to loose a way cool guitar that's of value. He deserves a smack really for stealing in a church!

Cool....with 2 of my guitars stolen earlier this month, this makes me still keep hope alive.
